We've moved! The move itself was actually very smooth. We had a TON of help (thank you EVERYONE) from our ward and Ahenobarbus' department. We were able to load and unload everything in two hours. Then the unpacking began. As I have said before, I don't mind moving because it gives me an opportunity to reorangize and clean everything. It did take a bit longer than past moves (except the most recent one across the country) because I had two extra helpers. So, when my sisters arrived from Utah to help, I was ready for their input. With their AMAZING help, we were able to finish unpacking, clean the house, and then repack (me and the girls) in time to fly to Utah five days later. We also got to do some shopping and have some excellent sister time! It was so much better than the last time they resuced me.
Now, the girls and I are in Utah for a few weeks. (Ahenobarbus stayed home to work and prepare for school to start.) We are having a good time, but it's not as much fun to vacation without him. We are fitting in as much as we can while we are here. Sorry there are no pictures, the one thing I forgot to pack was my camera. Right now we are staying with my mom (Beemer has spent hours every day with her cousins), and next week we are going to stay with Ahenobarbus' family and see everyone in Logan. (Yes, I am hoping to see those of you in training too!)
It's an odd feeling to be vacationing in August (although Ahenobarbus is used to being a bachelor this month). I still wake up in the middle of the night thinking of things to add to a staff meeting agenda, or of a fun team building activity my staff might like. But I have to admit that it's nice to be able to just go back to sleep when I wake up enough to remember reality!
