Vacation #4: St. Joseph

After a miserable drive back through Kansas (there really isn't any other kind where Kansas is concerned), we stopped to visit friends in St. Joseph, Missouri.  While we were there, they took us to visit Adam-Ondi-Ahman.  

We timed our visit so we were there for sunset - which was breathtaking, as you can see.  It was a beautiful, peaceful place, and a great way to end our trip!

Vacation #3: Goblin Valley

At the end of our trip, we headed to Southern Utah to feel red sand in our shoes again!  We hiked and camped in and around Escalante (not nearly long enough), then headed to Goblin Valley.  Here are some pictures of our little goblins in Goblin Valley:

And one shot of our sad little car packed to the brim!  It did great through the whole trip.

Vacation #2: Tony Grove Lake

While in Utah, we hiked around Tony Grove Lake.  It was a beautiful day!

The best part for the girls was glacier sliding - in June!  They aren't used to seeing snow that late in the year.  Luckily, Dad and Uncle Josh were willing to show them how!
