Here are some pictures of Easter at our house (I know, it's a bit late).

The girls looked adorable. At Beemer's request (I'm sure that will end soon enough), they matched down to their shoes. And for this year, they both loved it!

The Great Egg Hunt

Here are the pictures from our Easter Egg Hunt this year (and the subsequent cataloging of the goodies). As you can see, the Easter Bunny stuck around to make sure all of the eggs were found. (You didn't know the Easter Bunny lives at our house, did you?)

In Your Easter Bonnet, With All the Frills Upon It

Three years ago, Beemer was given this very cute Easter basket (which she has put to good use in many hunts), and she immediately insisted on wearing it on her head.

We thought it was sooo cute when she was one.

It's really cute when she's four, too!!

Easter PJs

This year for Easter, my adorable sister sent my adorable girls adorable Easter PJs. So, we sat down to take some adorable pictures. Here is Beemer modeling her PJs (they were three pieces and she wanted to model both the pants and the shorts).

Then came Audi's turn. I sat her down next to Beemer, thinking I would get a few shots of them together and then some of Audi alone. Instead, this is what I got:

" LET ME GO!"

"Climb down as quickly as possible. Falling is okay, if it speeds up the process."

"Now, crawl to Mommy's lap before she tries to make me sit still again!"

Trouble

Audi is trouble. Adorable, cuddly, loveable - yes; but trouble all the same. Let me begin by emphasizing that WE HAVE A BABYGATE at the top of the stairs to the basement. However, there are also three stairs to go out the backdoor and due to the width of the gap and the angles of the walls above these three stairs we are having a difficult time finding a gate that will block them off. Also, because Audi likes to eat the cats' food and play in the cats' water (right next to said stairs), we found what we thought was a good temporary solution. We block the entire area off by lying down a chair from our dining room.

This plan worked well, until Audi saw the cats climbing through the legs of the chair. At which point, she promptly did so herself (to get to the cat food, not the stairs). She was so proud of herself that I had to snap a quick picture before I removed her from the area.

We are currently working on a new plan. Who knew cat food tasted good enough to be so alluring?

(Yes, Audi is in her Halloween costume, she and Beemer were playing dress up. The costume was Beemer's idea because nothing else really fits Audi right now.)
