Here Comes Peter Cottontail

As Beemer missed the Easter Egg hunts in Utah, Aunt Jodie sent us the eggs Beemer would have found had she been in Utah on Easter (it's no wonder the kids all love her so much). The box got here yesterday and we had the hunt once Ahenobarbus got home. As you can tell from the video, Beemer didn't mind the delay at all!

A Matter of Minutes

Beemer really wanted to stay up to see Aunt Becky and Uncle Josh, so we let her. They arrived around 10:00.

The Hunt

Before we moved, Beemer had a favorite pasttime at Grandma and Grandpa's house. She loved to find Box Elder bugs and then have someone else either vacuum them up or flush them. Lucky for her there were plenty of bugs around to feed her desires during our visit. And lucky for us that Grandpa was ready to help in the hunt. The two of them spent over an hour ridding the house of every bug Beemer could find.

Can I Hold Her, PLEASE?

Beemer LOVES to hold Audi. She constantly asks to hold her and just can't get enough.

St. Patrick's Day

After Ahenobarbus explained to Beemer the strategy behind a successful and painless St. Patrick's Day and she realized there was an entire holiday which not only allowed pinching, but actually encouraged it, she spent the day putting everyone she saw in one of two categories: those she could pinch and those she couldn't. Luckily both girls had green on and looked adorable too (thanks to Aunt Jodie and Aunt Becky)!

The Nap That Didn't Happen

Naptime at my mom's house can be tricky - making sure the kids are seperated enough they will all sleep rather than play. On this paticular day, these two started out in seperate rooms, but Beemer couldn't stay away. I went in to check on them and they were so peaceful and quiet, I couldn't seperate them.

If only they had really been asleep...

Blessing Day

Last weekend we flew to Utah to be able to share Audi's blessing day with our friends and family there. It was a beautiful day and it was aweseome to have so many people who love us share our day! Audi wore the same blessing dress that I and my mom wore. Both the dress and the sweater were made by my mom's great aunt and my mom made the afghan that Audi was wrapped in. Audi looked radiant and Beemer was so proud to show off her "brand new baby sister."

Sisters

I know they are sisters and share the same genes,
but it still amazes me just how much Audi looks like Beemer!
So just for the sake of comparison,
here are pictures of the girls at approximately the same age:

Big Sister

Beemer is a fantastic big sister! She loves to hug and kiss Audi and is SO helpful. When Audi cries, Beemer sings her "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star;" when Audi is asleep, Beemer tries to keep the cats quiet; and when Audi needed her first bath, Beemer was right there to help.
