Snow Day

Even with all of the snow fall that accumulated while we were in Utah, the first storm in Logan was by far Bree's favorite. We bundled her up in Aunt Katie's old snow pants and let her run. Which is exactly what she did - from one side of the yard to the other to see if the snow tasted the same everywhere. She had a blast and did manage to fit in one snow angel.

After about an hour, I asked her if she was cold.
She replied, "Just my lips Mom, because I have been eating snow."
Now why didn't I realize that?!

Leaves are Falling All Around

The week after we got to Utah (before winter came in with a vengence), Beemer "helped" rake leaves with her cousins. Here are some shots of that day. (Notice how long her hair is compared to the pictures on Christmas, we cut off about 6 inches while in Utah - Thanks Courtney!)

Playing Catch Up

In an effort to share some of our trip (and to catch up from the long absences of posts during the trip), I thought I would start with a few pictures from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! The biggest hit of the day was the "pink present with the green alligator in it" that Santa brought Bree. Unfortunately, our camera died right as she was opening the present. Once I get the pics from Bec and Josh, I'll make sure to post them. She was so excited and incredibly adorable!

She was so excited to play she didn't even take all the paper off!

Home Again, Home Again

After a whirlwind two month trip, we arrived back in St. Louis safely last Tuesday. Beemer was once again an angel on the plane and actually slept for most of the second flight. She was so cute and peaceful I couldn't resist this picture right before we woke her up to disembark.

We are now all unpacked (yes, it took me a week) and enjoying a few more days together before Ahenobarbus starts class on the 21st. Thanks to everyone in Utah for making our trip wonderful, and keeping us well fed and sane. We didn't get nearly enough time with most of you and for those we didn't see at all - we hope to remedy that situation on our next trip. In the meantime, I hope to catch up on all of the pictures (and posts) from our trip that didn't get downloaded until yesterday =).

P.S. Happy Birthday, Mom!
